She has no vote on city council,
When I mentioned to her that the weeds around city trees were growing out of control, she had no idea that it was my obligation under city bylaws to cut the weeds myself....
Instead of letting me know of said bylaw, she sent an inspector to me, and had me fined. A warning ticket would have been appropriate...
I also Mentioned to her one of the worst streets in the city, and how it needed to be fixed because navigating was kinda rough..bumpy..vomit inducing....
Esplanade (between Van Horne and Bernard). She told me last year, Almost a year ago! That she would most definately take care of it and even wrote it in her little black note book where she noted the weeds issue as well.
She also noted the excessive amounts of cyclists riding on the sidewalk....and she was appalled....said she'd do something about that as well....and it went into her black note book... she even made a call to someone about it...who?
Anyways...of these three items noted in her Black book...she dealt with the one that would generate the borough some coin....The weeds issue....and sent out a fine....To only me...so it was also a punishment for having defeated the city's idea about rebranding Park avenue....And when I complained about it...she sent out some more fines....
The other two issues are still hanging....But the Tickets to the merchants and property owners are still going out....see previous posts...
So her position must be all about generating money for the borough and nothing else....Because she does Nothing else!
How 'bout we eliminate the position....It would save plenty of money!!
And cut down on Bureaucracy....reduce the chiefs....serve the indians better....
Esplanade though....ouff...It's been two years at least that the street has been a disaster....and the people that live on it are quite pissed! They also claim that they are being ignored by the borough administration!

Then Call the borough and demand the disaster be fixed!!
On a side note.....Mrs. Fakotakis is on Vacation at the moment.....Guess she didn't want to be here to listen to the complaints of the people who were ticketed this week....and who knows....her higher ups in the city...who are already disappointed with her.....
